The Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center opened in 1998, as THPRD's only joint-use recreation and aquatic center. It was built to serve the high demand of recreational needs in the south end of the district.
Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment where people of all ages can play, learn and grow.
We continually strive to meet the individual and family recreational needs of our community. We place the safety and well-being of our patrons above all else.
Facility Features
Recreation Facility
Dance and fitness room, weight room, four multipurpose classrooms, two wooden floor gymnasium courts and an outdoor playground.
Childcare
Our staff offers quality childcare services to accommodate parents attending on-site programs. We support the intellectual, social and emotional development of each child. The nurturing environment helps care for children who may be experiencing their first structured separation from a parent as well as providing activities for a wide variety of age ranges.
Fees are $3 per hour or $1.50 per half-hour for ID residents. OD residents are required to have a valid assessment fee. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Pool Facility
- Indoor six-lane, 25-yard lap pool (84 degrees) with a one-meter diving board and rope swing.
- Indoor leisure pool (89 degrees) with water features and water slide.
Family Dressing Rooms
We have four family dressing rooms for your convenience. We ask children ages 6 and older to use the locker rooms or restrooms of their own gender.
Conestoga Friends Group
This committee is composed of members from the community who represent residents of the Park District and make recommendations regarding programming of the center. The committee currently has a vacancy. Please visit the center to apply.
The Friends Group recently authorized the purchase of four new treadmills, a squat rack, Stairmaster and an elliptical. The Stairmaster has been installed and we anticipate the remaining equipment to be in place by March 1st.
Building Hours
Monday-Thursday: 5:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m.
Friday: 5:30 a.m.- 9 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
