ALERT:  THPRD is beginning the restoration and daylighting of a section of the stream at Raleigh Park from July to August 2024. Access to certain areas of the park and trails may be impacted during the restoration work. Park Improvments

In 2017, THPRD completed an updated concept plan for Raleigh Park to improve the park’s existing amenities and restore the park’s stream and habitat. The concept plan is based on community input gathered in 2016-2017 through several community meetings.

THPRD continues to implement the updated concept plan over time as funding becomes available. The pickleball court was renovated in 2018 and the pool deck was replaced in 2019. Staff started habitat restoration activities in the forested areas in 2020.

Currently, THPRD is planning the restoration and daylighting of a section of the park's stream based on the updated concept plan. This upcoming restoration work is expected to begin in summer 2024 and will help improve habitat and stormwater management throughout the park.
