The Cedar Mill Cider Festival returns on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 1 to 4 pm at the historic John Quincy Adams Young House, 12050 NW Cornell Road.
THPRD sponsors this free neighborhood event, which features fresh cider processed with antique presses by members of Boy Scout Troop 208. Guests can enjoy a free sample and purchase cider, pumpkins and other produce, and enjoy live music, a BBQ meal and more.
THPRD’s Rec Mobile will provide games and activities for kids under the hickory tree. A portion of the proceeds from food and craft sales will go to the JQAY House restoration fund.
Several organizations will be on hand to educate visitors about activities, resources, and events in Cedar Mill.
Free parking will be available at Cedar Mill Bible Church (12208 NW Cornell Road) after 1 pm.
