Barbie Minor

President

Barbie Minor was elected to the Board of Directors in 2021. She is a mother of two school age children, a marketing professional, and an avid patron of THPRD for almost 20 years.

Barbie grew up in Bellingham, Washington and then moved to New York City where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She moved to Washington County in 2004, and she and her husband have raised their family here ever since.

Currently, she leads the Global Product Marketing team for Columbia Sportswear. Barbie also serves on the Budget Committee for the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District. She is an active volunteer for the Beaverton School District.

Barbie, and her husband Kaman, along with their children enjoy exploring THPRD’s vast parks and trails, and of course all the dog parks for the fur baby. She enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, camping, reading, and all things music, movies, and theatre related.
