We have two rooms dedicated to fitness - one fitted solely for cardio workouts and another for weights and strength training. No matter what fitness goals you have in mind, we have the equipment for you!
Stop by or call the front office to set up a weight room orientation with one of our trainers, who can help you get the most out of the weight and cardio rooms.During your orientation, you will learn how to operate our equipment and the proper techniques for using our machines. Pre-registration is required. $58.25 for in district residents.
The fitness rooms are divided into 2 spaces, one with cardio equipment and one with weight equipment. In the weight room, we have circuit weight training machines and free weights, including benches, squat racks, and cross cable system.
Our cardio room machines include stationary bikes, treadmills, stair climbers, elliptical trainers and a rowing machine. We also have a TRX suspension trainer system set up.
Stretching areas are also available in both rooms as well as newly dedicated stretching space in room 8, our yoga studio. Enjoy!

May 4, 9-10:30 AM CH42573 Learn machine adjustments, techniques for using equipment with confidence, and receive a basic exercise program during this 1.5 hour session. Small group format with a limit of five participants.
The fitness rooms at Cedar Hills are designed for patrons ages 18 years and up. Minors ( ages 14-17) must have a signed waiver on file and complete a youth fitness walkthrough with their parent or guardian and one of our staff to be able to use the fitness rooms independently.
Minors aged 12 and 13 can only use the fitness rooms after being approved by the Fitness Specialist, and must be accompanied by an adult (parent, guardian, or THPRD fitness instructor) at all times.
All of that fitness equipment can look pretty confusing, and every magazine on the market seems to have a different approach to weight lifting. Our certified personal trainers will assist you in developing an individualized exercise program during a private, one-hour session. You will learn basic nutrition, set personal fitness goals designed for your body type, and confidently use our weight and cardio equipment. Body composition testing is also available.
