THPRD to observe Veterans Day on Nov. 11

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, THPRD's administrative office and many other sites will be closed this Friday, Nov. 11. Other facilities may have limited hours, so check our holiday hours page for more information.

We invite you to join THPRD in celebrating those who have served at either or both of our Veterans Day events.

  • Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center is honoring vets and their families with free activities all day long. Military families are invited to enjoy free drop-in programs, fitness classes and a pancake breakfast!
  • The Bethel Congregational United Church, near Veteans Memorial Park, will hold its traditional Veterans Day program at 11 am. The program, presented by Beaverton Post #124 of the American Legion Department of Oregon, includes a keynote address from Oregon Secretary of State Jeanne P. Atkins and more.
