This week will bring us to stand next to trees that are over four hundred years old and discover the effects of forest disturbances such as weather , wind, and fire. We will trace the path of a water droplet from the high reaches of Mt. Hood, to the Oregon Coast. Along the way we will learn about the water cycle, water chemistry, water conservation, and about the creatures that live in and around water. This week is bound to be a splash! Through a series of challenges, campers will learn fire building techniques, wilderness first aid, shelter making skills, and will become experts in leaving no trace.
