Meetings scheduled to discuss proposed off-leash areas at three local parks
October 16, 2013
The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District has scheduled meetings for neighbors of Somerset West, Melilah and Garden Home Parks to discuss the proposed addition of dedicated off-leash areas for dogs at those locations.
The proposal would allow dogs to run off-leash in a designated area of each park at scheduled hours on specific days. The meetings will gather input from park neighbors. No decision on the proposal will be made until after public comments have been received.
Neighbors unable to attend the meeting can submit inquiries or feedback by contacting Lisa Novak at lnovak@thprd.org or 503/645-6433.
