AARP Driver Safety Program classes are held at the Stuhr Center about once a month. These classroom refresher courses are designed to meet the needs of older drivers.
Participants sharpen their driving skills and develop strategies for adjusting to age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Participants must attend the entire six-hour session (one or two days) to receive a certificate.
For a list of upcoming classes, please call the Stuhr Center or use the AARP's class locater. Registration is available one month in advance of each scheduled class.
The cost of the class is $15 fee for current AARP members, $20 for non-members. Please bring a check, payable to AARP, to the beginning of the class.
