Fitness Challenge

How Far Will You Go?
The Cedar Hills Fitness Challenge is a fitness contest that rewards you for getting off the couch, getting fit and having fun! This is not a weight-loss contest, it is a fun way to get fit and potentially win a free round-trip ticket to any continental U.S. destination.
Participants choose their destination and, beginning Jan. 1, start earning “fitness miles” toward that destination. A wide variety of fitness and recreational activities qualify; the amount of time you spend on them will determine how many miles you are awarded. For example, bowling for 30 minutes is worth 2 miles, walking for 15 minutes is worth 3 miles.
The Fitness Challenge runs from Jan. 1-April 30.
All those who complete the Challenge by earning enough “fitness miles” to reach their selected destination (by April 30) will be entered into the final grand prize drawing for one free round-trip ticket.
The cost of the Challenge is $15.
Participants must be 18 years or older to be entered in the final grand-prize drawing.
Registration packets and activity logs are available at the Cedar Hills Recreation Center.
