Alcohol
The consumption of alcohol is prohibited at THPRD sites, unless sold at a THPRD sanctioned event. Violations could result in exclusion. Residents may be granted permit to serve alcohol at private events by completing the form below.
The district reserves the right to cancel, change or combine programs. Participants may cancel classes at least five days prior to the first class to receive a full refund.
Pre-approval is required for both commercial and non-commercial shoots. Please contact Holly Thompson at hthompson@thprd.org at least 14 days prior to your desired shooting date.
Discounts
Residents within district boundaries are eligible to receive program discounts that apply to youth (under 18), seniors (58+), military and guests with special needs.
Dogs in Parks
All dogs are required to be on a leash and under control by their owners while visiting THPRD sites. Owners are responsible for the removal of all solid waste deposited by their dogs. Violation may warrant a civil fine of $100 and possible exclusion from the park. Please use doggie bags (provided at most sites) and protect the environment.
Dogs are allowed off-leash at three fenced dog parks within the district: PCC Rock Creek, Hazeldale Park and Winkelman Park.
If you live within THPRD boundaries and your household income is below federal poverty guidelines, you are eligible to receive up to $200 per year, per household member.
Players in THPRD youth sports programs are prohibited from wearing jewelry during practices and games. A medical alert medal must be taped and may be visible.
Non-resident Fees
Residents of THPRD support park and recreation services through property taxes, and are entitled to early registration and lower program costs. Non-residents may choose to pay an assessment fee or a 25 percent per-class premium.
Photos taken by THPRD at district parks, facilities and other sites may be used for promotional purposes.
Privacy
We collect no personal information about you unless you voluntarily participate in an activity that asks for information (i.e. sending an e-mail, participating in a survey, or accessing a service).
Smoking
Smoking of any product is prohibited at all THPRD sites. Violations could result in exclusion.
