In response to Governor Brown’s announcement last week regarding the new matrix for COVID-19 risk assessment within counties, THPRD will continue its closure of facilities to the public, with the exception of registered participants in child care and preschool programs.

Spring Term 2020 has been cancelled. Patrons will receive a refund for program or class fees. Refunds will be processed by mid-May and credits will be returned through the method of payment received.
THPRD Exploring Options to Connect the Westside Trail Over Highway 26

Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District has partnered with Community Action and Project Homeless Connect to open an emergency shelter for single adults at the Elsie Stuhr Center. The emergency shelter will be in operation during the time the facility is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
THPRD Announces a Reduction in Workforce Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to the unprecedented global pandemic and the accompanying closure of programs and facilities, THPRD initially placed 762 part-time and seasonal workers in unscheduled status.
The safety of THPRD guests, staff and community is our top priority and the district is taking appropriate action to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to this, the registration for Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District’s summer camps, programs, classes and activities has been delayed.
The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is launching a survey as part of the district’s ongoing community visioning effort. The survey is open to the public from Feb 20 through April 24.
The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) will host an open house for families with children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old that will be starting preschool in September 2020.
