THPRD Receives 2023 Grant Funding From USA Swimming Foundation

Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) was chosen as one of 35 adult programs from the USA Swimming Foundation’s nationwide network of swim lesson providers to receive grant money in early 2023.

The grant award will go toward THPRD’s continued efforts to provide free or reduced-cost swim lessons. The grant fund will provide swim lessons for 60 adults across our 8 pools now through December 15, 2023.

Regardless of skill level - from the littlest polliwog to a seasoned, confident swimmer - we provide excellent teaching staff, serving 30,000 swimmers a year, including 2,000 experiencing disabilities in our beautiful, clean pools at muliple locations throughout the Beaverton area.

Learn to Swim

The THPRD Aquatics Department is dedicated to providing a fun and creative atmosphere for the development of swimming skills for youth and adults in our community.

We believe in the value of swimming as a lifetime skill, as well as healthy recreational activity. Our Learn to Swim program includes seven levels.
