Project Summary & Public Benefits

An upgraded ventilation system has been installed and the control system has been upgraded at the Tualatin Hills Athletic Center. The new system improves air quality and patron comfort and safety, particularly during the hot summer months.

The new system will expand opportunities to schedule events, which might not have been otherwise practical during extreme summer heat.

The new system has expanded opportunities to schedule events, which might not have been otherwise practical during extreme summer heat.

An upgraded ventilation system was installed as was an upgraded control system. Supply and return chilled water lines were insulated, and new controllers were installed on the five air handler units. A new chiller unit was installed, and lines were connected from the chiller to the building.
