The safety of our patrons is one of THPRD's highest concerns. That's why passage of the 2008 bond measure was so important - it allowed the district to attend to important maintenance work and structural upgrades at a number of facilities.
Seismic upgrades are planned for the Conestoga Recreation and Aquatics Center, THPRD's only joint-use recreation and aquatic facility.
Contestoga Conestoga features an indoor six-lane, 25-yard lap pool with a one-meter diving board and rope swing, and a warmer indoor leisure pool with water features and water slide.was built to serve the high demand of recreational needs in the south end of the district.
Update
Seismic upgrades have been made at the Conestoga Recreation and Aquatics Center to bring the facility up to current earthquake standards.
