The safety of our patrons is one of THPRD's highest concerns. That's why passage of the 2008 bond measure was so important - it allowed the district to attend to important maintenance work and structural upgrades at a number of facilities.
Seismic upgrades are planned for the Beaverton Swim Center. The center features a 25-yard pool, and offers swim instruction to people of all ages.
Update
Seismic upgrades will bring the Beaverton Swim Center up to current current safety and earthquake codes.
